Message from the President of the University of Asmara

I take great pleasure and pride to congratulate all of you. The University is usually a tough place but it is also a fun place, above all it is a learning place where valuable experiences, knowledge and skills are gained within the classroom, from your lecturers but also outside the classrooms from the daily interaction with the learned community of the University. You have all the reasons in the world to celebrate your achievements but as we always tell you, graduation is not an end but rather the beginning of a new challenge where you will continue to mature and learn from the world of work. The University has always been proud of its graduates because they have performed their duties with commitment, diligence and with high degree of professionalism. I am confident that you too will carry the burning torch of excellence, relevance and sustainability to its highest level and be excellent ambassadors to your alma mater. I wish you success and all the best in your future life.
