Message from the Director of Administration

My co-workers in the Directorate of Administration and I take this opportunity to congratulate the members of the graduating class of 2004 on your crowning personal, and academic, achievements. Needles to say, you had to work very hard and surmount many a test to get to where you are today. Celebrating this memorable and joyful convocation is indeed quite appropriate and deservedly so.

With the knowledge and skills you have gained over the years, you are now in an enviable position to make a difference to the betterment of the nation in general and your fellow citizens in particular. After all, I think you would agree with me, your success and accomplishment have been made possible through the relentless efforts and dedication, and tremendous generosity, of the nation and the University community. You are about to join the ranks of the alumni of the nation’s flagship institution. Please remember that you are duty bound to contribute to your alma mater’s growth and to the realization of its national mission. Make it a habit to touch base on a continuous basis with your respective departments, and keep the donations coming.

As you transfer from the world of academia to that of the workplace, and service to the nation, the challenges ahead are great-but I believe the rewards are even greater. Allow me to wish you the best of luck in all your future personal, and professional, endeavors.

Again congratulations!

Awet N’Hafash!
Tewolde Zerom, (Ph.D.)
Director of Administration
