The Director of Academic Affairs is the chief executive at the University in charge of all academic issues. These include the hiring and promotion of faculty, overseeing the development and improvement of specific curricula for all undergraduate and graduate programs, and the maintenance of the highest standards of excellence for teaching and research at the University.

Inquiries about specific academic programs, teaching positions, and admission to undergraduate or graduate departments should first be explored on the University's website (www.uoa.edu.er). All open teaching and administrative positions are posted on this site under "About UOA". More specific questions about teaching positions may be sent to the Director of Academic Affairs, or to the head of the specific department under consideration.
