Objectives of the School of Graduate Studies of the University of Asmara (UoA):

• Coordinate and administer all matters related to graduate studies;
• Formulate, interpret, and monitor regulations, procedures and practices of graduate studies at the UoA;
• Advise deserving graduate students on sources and mechanisms for securing financial assistance; and
• Undertake activities pertinent to graduate studies to promote and improve the quality of scholarship at the UoA.

The University of Asmara will open its first graduate programs at the Masters Degree level in September 2004. The following departments will offer programs
