The Department of Business Management is one of the oldest departments in the University. It has developed a curriculum to fit the current situation of the national and international environment. The department offers courses designed to help students develop critical and analytical thinking to enable them to deal effectively with business situations.

Business Management is a growing discipline along with the growth of business industry, market and trade around the globe. The opportunities for graduates from this Department are varied and unlimited. Based on their strengths and competencies, graduates of our department are highly demanded in the following areas:

• Multinational and national enterprises operating in Eritrea and abroad
• Private sector industries, businesses, marketing and trade organizations and consultancy firms
• Public sector industries, business firms and governmental ministries and departments
• Financial institutions, tourism organizations, corporate hotels, hospitals and non-governmental and non-profit organisations.
