College of Social and Management Sciences

Hal-hale Campus

The University of Asmara has established a satellite campus, the College of Social and Management Sciences, in the town of Hal-hale, located approximately 30 km. south of Asmara. The Advanced Diploma Program and the Certificate Program are offered to more than 500 students at this site.

Students enrolled at Hal-hale live free-of-charge in dormitories on campus and are provided meals in the campus cafeteria. Additional facilities include a library, computer lab (open free to all registered students), and a Language Lab (open days and evenings) for students working on improving their English language skills.

    Conference Facilities

The University makes classrooms, dormitories, the cafeteria, laboratories, and other amenities available to organizations seeking to rent space for conferences, workshops, retreats, and seminars.

For more information on renting the Hal-hale facilities, please contact Dr. Yemane at 162138 or by email at yemane@asmara.uoa.edu.er.
