The University of Asmara offers Advanced Diploma Programs at the College of Social and Management Sciences in Hal-hale. These 3-year programs offer individuals interested in higher education the opportunity to gain skills and knowledge that will promote them in their careers and open new professional opportunities.

Those students who do well academically in the Advanced Diploma Programs, maintaining a minimum Grade Point Average of 2.5 or higher , are eligible to pursue a fourth year of study at the University and receive a Bachelor's Degree.


The Advanced Diploma is offered in the following fields of study:

• Accounting
• Business Management
• Public Administration
• Journalism & Mass Communication
• Library and Information Studies

 

In addition, a one-year Certification Program is available at Hal-hale in the field of:

• Archives and Records Studies
